Series Spotlight: The Wolves of Mercy Falls Series

The Wolves of Mercy Falls Series by Maggie Stiefvater

Guys, guys, guys. Can we talk about the cover symmetry here?

The same forest theme. The same font. Always a wolf. Always a color theme. Even the titles are similar—you know they belong together. Really, that's true for the covers as a whole: you can take one look at any one of these and know exactly what series it belongs to. Contrasted, though, I think they're different enough as needed, and the cover of each one does a great job of displaying the plot of the book in a single scene.

Your thoughts?

    On another note...
I have to say, I love this series! I haven't had the chance to read the 3rd book yet, but I imagine it will be amazing.

The third was my favorite of them all, so I hope you like it as much as I did! (:

  2. I liked the cover of these books, but I felt like the story fell short. I was expecting a better and more conclusive final book, but I was very unsatisfied. The series had a lot of potential. I wish it had a stronger plot and ending though

    1. Awe, I'm sorry you didn't like the ending! I know how disappointing that can be.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your opinion. (:

    2. I actually feel the same way as Diane. I LOVED the first book, the 2nd was good, but it just seemed like it lost steam in the 3rd one and I was expecting a stronger ending. I still LOVED Sam though!

    3. Hmm, I wonder if I'm in the minority, then? My favorite character by far, though, was Cole St. Clair, and you got to see so much of him in the last book. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. (:
