The Wolves of Mercy Falls Series by Maggie Stiefvater
Guys, guys, guys. Can we talk about the cover symmetry here?
The same forest theme. The same font. Always a wolf. Always a color theme. Even the titles are similar—you know they belong together. Really, that's true for the covers as a whole: you can take one look at any one of these and know exactly what series it belongs to. Contrasted, though, I think they're different enough as needed, and the cover of each one does a great job of displaying the plot of the book in a single scene.
Your thoughts?

I have to say, I love this series! I haven't had the chance to read the 3rd book yet, but I imagine it will be amazing.
Thanks for the follow—I'm following back! (:
DeleteThe third was my favorite of them all, so I hope you like it as much as I did! (:
I liked the cover of these books, but I felt like the story fell short. I was expecting a better and more conclusive final book, but I was very unsatisfied. The series had a lot of potential. I wish it had a stronger plot and ending though
ReplyDeleteAwe, I'm sorry you didn't like the ending! I know how disappointing that can be.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and sharing your opinion. (:
I actually feel the same way as Diane. I LOVED the first book, the 2nd was good, but it just seemed like it lost steam in the 3rd one and I was expecting a stronger ending. I still LOVED Sam though!
DeleteHmm, I wonder if I'm in the minority, then? My favorite character by far, though, was Cole St. Clair, and you got to see so much of him in the last book. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. (:
DeleteThis I agree! I love Maggie Stiefvater. Her covers always seem to fit her style and her writing is amazing. Love this series!
