Cover of the Day: Fixing Delilah

Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler

This cover is just beyond cute.

I think this is mostly because I adored paper doll chains growing up, even though I always messed them up when I tried to make them. (It's extremely complicated, I swear.) But yes, I approve of the paper doll chain for this cover, and I also approve the completely adorable font used for that title. I'm not so sure about the font for the tagline, though. It's a little too Times New Roman for a YA book, in my opinion. All in all, it's a cover I'd love to add to my shelf.

Your thoughts?

  1. Hi! Thanks for commenting on my blog :) It's definitely a pretty cover and even though I think it's slightly cliche, I like the idea that the paper dolls convey. And I agree with you on the Times New Roman fonts. On an indie cover it wouldn't be surprising but it's unusual to find it on a cover made by professionals.

    1. Yep, I completely agree with you. You'd think the professionals would be so overloaded with specialty fonts, they wouldn't be able to find any of the typical ones.

      Thanks for stopping by! (:
