Cover Of The Day: The Best of Us

The Best of Us by Sarah Pekkanen

I love the red sideline of this cover, and it definitely fits with the font of the title. But the thing i LOVE the most about this cover is the cover itself.I mean, look at the beach, the trees, the whole relaxing moment,it's AMAZING-looking and it captures you right now! It's that exciting. It looks like the perfect summer read, i hope it is!

Cover of The Day: Left Drowning

Left Drowning by Jessica Park

This cover is beautiful in every way. I love the blend of the colors. It's always a pleasure to notice the cover artist's talented work. The water ripples give a calming vibe to the cover and model girl facing away from the camera also gives off a mysterious and a bit creepy vibe. The title font is awesome, i love these kinds of fonts. the author's name has been given its fair share. I absolutely adore this cover

Cover of The Day: Overpowered

Overpowered by Mark H. Kruger

Well, I love the color, green. It's always so lively and alive. This cover had the same impact on me. I loved the strange hues of colors and they match together so well. The shadow of the girl also gives off a mysterious but lovely vibe. What I didn't like though is the title's size. It's too small. It's like, you have to strain to actually read the name of the book or the author. Too, small. Way too small. Which is a huge problem, i think

Cover Of The Day: Boy On The Bridge

""Sorry guys, this is one day late. So sorry. Senior year problems!"

Boy On The Bridge by Natalie Standiford

Wow. This cover captivated me from first glance. Look at the two cover models. They have such chemistry and can I just say that their clothes are REALLY fitting for the blurb? It's amazing how the cover artist noticed the details and all that. I love the title font. It's so girly and the title contrasts with the whole theme of the cover, so it really stands out. But I wish the name of the author was a bit bigger. P.S. The snow falling is looking entirely AMAZING!

Cover of The Day: All Our Pretty Songs

All Our Pretty Songs by Sarah McCarry

I am trying not to judge this book by its content, just by it's cover. I read this one last week and it was a failure, but I gotta give a thumbs up to the amazing cover. I love the leaves and the green swirls, and how they come together for the title. the font of the title is amazing and lovely. The model of the cover is also a pretty addition and her facing away from the camera is really nice. But I think the quote at the end is unnecessary and it took a lot of space that should have been given to the author's name.

Cover of The Day: Shutdown

Shutdown by Heather Anastasiu

Wow. I love the brownish and gold hues in this cover. And the girl model on the cover, facing away from the camera, it's so amazing and gives off a mysterious vibe to the book. The title font is pretty. I love the light shining out of the "O" in the cover. Actually, there is absolutely no down side to this cover and everything about it is perfect

Cover of The Day: One Tiny Lie

One Tiny Lie by K. A. Tucker

I love the hues of the pink and orange on the cover. And the way the leaves fall of and float is amazing. I am not a huge fan of autumn, but this photo and the girl's clothes that match the season is making me LOVE it. I also love the font of the title, it fits and the white contrasts with the photo, so it's perfect

Cover Of The Day: Outcast

Outcast by Adrienne Kress

I absolutely adored this cover the first time I saw it,, and I still do. The dark shades of the blue in the night sky and the moon with the couples' silhouette is fantastic and fits the cover and the title perfectly. Also love the creepy and mysterious feel of it. The title and the author have been given their good space, but the little quote at the top is not really clear, which is a small problem somehow. Don't you think?

Cover of The Day: Summerkin

Summerkin by Sarah Prineas

I love the middle-grade feel of this book. its colors are vibrant and alive, the water in the bottom is lovely. Also love the girl model and the animation feel of it. This would be a great animation movie if they go on this lead.

Cover of The Day: Going Vintage

Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt

Well, this cover attracted my attention because of the bright coloring. I loved the pink-tiled floor and the bright green sofas. They capture you at first sight. I also loved how the whole cover is vintage, the things that that surround the girl are all vintage and connect to the title nicely. I also liked the font of both the title and the author's name. But they could have been done differently, in a more beautiful way.

Cover of The Day: Unnatural Creatures

Unnatural Creatures, stories selected by Neil Gaiman

I love the black feel of this story. It gives off a very creepy vibe and the little curves and the sketches on the sides of the cover are amazing. I cannot wait to know what they mean to the stories in the book. I also LOVE the title's font. It fits the vibe of the story and the name of the author (or in this case, collector) is given justice, too. I liked this a lot but it is a bit too dull, at the same time. I guess that's the author's intention.

Cover Of The Day: Mystic

Mystic by Alyson Noel

I absolutely love the color, the ocean blue. The way it swirls around the cover is amazingly beautiful and enchanting. I love the font of the title and how the "y" is written. The background, the waterfall is really beautiful. Also loved the cut of the dress of the model and the way she is holding her hair, or pushing it away. Her dress is gorgeous

Cover of The Day: The Drowning

The Drowning by Rachel Ward

I loved the simplicity of this cover. The girl's bruised up body and her dirty face and her look is so intriguing. I also loved how the cover showed both the surface and deep within the water. So, it created some kind of dividing effect, it looks amazing. I also loved the title's font, but I wished it was white. I think white would have looked better than the bright green.

Cover Of The Day: The Disgrace of Kitty Grey

The Disgrace of Kitty Grey by Mary Hooper

I loved the flowers on the corners of this cover. The blend of the blue and pink on the cover is really girly and pretty. Also LOVED the font of the title, specially the "Kitty Grey" font. The twisting, swirly letters are wonderful. Have you noticed the pearl necklace on the cover model and the gold earring, it's beautiful and gives off a historic vibe. This cover is perfection

Cover of The Day: Nameless

Nameless by Lili St. Crow

The first thing that captured me is the dress the model is wearing. Torn. Messy. Dirty white. Loved it. Also the apple in her hand with a reference to Snow White is captivating, and her bright black hair shines through.
I love the dark sky with the clouds and its contrast with the title. The fonts are all perfect for the background. I love this cover!

Cover Of The Day: Die For Her

Die For Her by Amy Plum

Wow. That's the word. I am maybe , the hugest fan of Paris. So you could imagine how much this cover enchanted me. The first thing is the colors, they are all blends of each other and shades of blue and purple. They are done perfectly. Also love the twirls of the lines surrounding the title. Although the title's font is simple, the twirls and curves around it are amazing. The author's name has been given justice. I wish this book was a real softcover, not a digital file!

Cover of The Day: Between Two Thorns

Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman

Wow. That's all to say here. I love the brownish color that is spread throughout the cover and the little specks of color here and there. It feels like they signify something. The title's font is gorgeous, the little curves and turns grab your attention immediately. The author's name has been given justice. I just wish the brownish color would have been a little lighter, I think it's a little too depressing,,

Cover of The Day: INFINITE SKY

Infinite Sky by C. J. Flood

I absolutely adore this cover. The first thing that I love about it is the blend of the colors. They are all shades of blue and white and they look good together! The second intriguing thing about this cover is the leaves and corns and the butterfly on the spider web, at the bottom of the cover. It is so unique and enchanting. The title's font is unique, too. I have never seen anything like it.

Cover of The Day: Order of Darkness

Order of Darkness by Philippa Gregory

I am a huge fan of simple covers. I love their flavor and their uniqueness. This cover is definitely one of my favorites. The first thing that captured my interest was the burning red candles. They sure signify something important but you gotta read the book to find out. Also loved the title's font but I wish it was a little bigger. But the author's name font is perfect. Love the gray scale background, too. It is mesmerizing and makes the candlestick and the candles stand out.

Cover of The Day: The Gathering Dark

The Gathering Dark by Christine Johnson

The thing I love the most about this cover is its simplicity. Nothing to fancy and too much, or to typical. The way the model's hair covers her face is unique and pretty mysterious. And the stars background adds some mystery to the cover. The dress is gorgeous! Loved the font of the title, fits with the background and the color blend perfectly. It's these covers that make me remember why I love reading so much!
