THIS COVER. I love how the blues, the whites, and the yellows work together, and the bubbles and the chain-link pattern that ties in so well with the book's content. And the interlocking, glowing 'O' - how genius is that?

The only thing I don't like is that girl's expression. Yeah.

OHMIGODOHMIGODOHMIGODOHMIGOD. Now say that 50 times, really fast. xP ANYWAYS. So you know how I'm a fan of simple and subtle? Well, I take that back. I'm not a fan of simple and subtle. I'm a fan of covers like this.

I love the almost subtle, silvery-gray scales in the background. It really makes the fishhooks jump out at you, as well as the text. I love the way the fishhooks form a heart. And the tagline -

"Miracles come at a price."

How awesome does that sound?

Cover of the Day: Echo

I've never read Fated, the first in this series by Alyson Noel, so I have zero idea what it's about, but LOOK AT THIS COVER! I'm in serious coverlust and fontlust right now. 

The blues and whites give it a feel that's just a little dreamy and just a little tense. I also love the flurry of snowflakes rising up from the hem of her dress, and the way her hair fans out around her expression - it looks as if she just turned around and noticed that someone was behind her. Who?
