US vs. UK: The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)

I've been a huge fan of The Hunger Games' US cover since I first read the book. On the other hand, I can't say I'm much of a fan of the UK take. It's a little bit crowded for me. However, I really like the UK's font—it has that edgy look to it. Overall, I think my biggest issue with the UK cover is the loss of the mockingjay symbol—I adore that book-to-cover tie-in.

Let me know if you prefer the US cover like myself, or if you think the UK has it right!

Battle of Editions: The Angel Experiment

The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1)
The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

When I started looking for different covers, I had no idea I'd find this many. I mean, what book needs six different covers? And this isn't a collection of international covers—no, this is just the set the US of A has.

So what's your favorite? Personally, I love the first one, since it's the one I read it with, and I'm apparently sentimental. But the fifth one is pretty interesting, because it has me wondering where her wings could possibly be.

Your thoughts?
