I am totally loving this cover right now! It's very unique and would really stand out on a bookstore shelf.
You don't see many black & white covers in YA and if the whole thing was black & white I think it would be rather boring, but that one pop of red right there in the middle is what makes it work for me. I like the fact that instead of making the word LOVE red, which would be the most predictable thing, the designer instead chose to make the umbrella a color that we associate with the word love in our minds.

Oh my gosh, this is lovely! I agree about the pop of color. This one reminds me a lot of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, I guess because of the couple and because it's the only black-white-red cover I can think of!
