This is a funny pair: I know The Rivals cover really well because I've just always adored it, and I happened to spot a little thumbnail of Dark Seraphine the other day and realized the similarity. I wasn't even sure they were the same picture until I looked up close because they look so completely different. Let me know which cover you like better!
I like The Rivals cover--I've heard that it's a good series, too. Dark Seraphine's cover is just too darkly tinted, and I'm not a fan of the half-shadowed girl's face. It's just a weird shot, ya know?
