I Like Him, He Likes Her by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
Why this cover caught my eye: the bright yellow flowers she's holding behind her back, and the fact that they match her rain boots! Adorable.
Another thing that I really like about this cover is the way the title and all the other type is stacked down the right side. Titles almost always go left to right so to see one going top to bottom is another thing that caught my eye.
What catches your eye?
I love the emphasis of the colour yellow on both the tulips and the boots. I thought that the colour is bright and sunny. Although I don't sense that much joy in the stance of the girl, despite the connections of the colour yellow to bright, sunny, and happiness. Great cover!
