Cover of the Day: The DUFF

The DUFF by Kody Keplinger

The gigantic block lettering on this cover is great at doing its job: getting people to look at the book. It's always the first thing I notice when I see it, and the text-in-letter style is a clever way to direct all the attention it gets to the title—after all, don't you want to know what those letters stand for?

Marketing techniques aside, I just really appreciate this cover—the unique angle, the matching colors of the bubble-gum bubble and the eye shadow—it all adds up to make a lovely cover.

What do you think?
