US vs. UK: The Perks of Being A Walflower

       US vs. UK

I really have to read this book, because if its covers say anything about it, it's sure to be the most unique book I'll read all year.

In the world of YA covers, I really think these two stand out on their own—the US one especially. I've never seen any cover like it, one that, instead of using its limited space, minimizes everything else so it's the empty space you notice. I wholeheartedly applause this book for creating its own distinct style.

On the other hand, UK's cover seems to use the opposite effect, and has attempted to fit as much text in its allotted space as it can. I really love every little detail about it: I love the ripped holes at the top of the cover, the pictures paper-clipped on to it, the messy handwriting in a duller color and the dark print title.

When it comes down to it, UK's my winner. What's yours?
