Cover of the Day: Mind Games

At first this cover seems really simple, just your average close up of a girls face, a little bit pixilated. Then after you really look at if for a minute you realize that it’s a grid, made up of a bunch of smaller images repeated over and over. 

I find this to be a very powerful cover. All of the colors are vibrant and jump off the page, the girl is making direct eye contact with the viewer, and the title is in all caps, centered right in the middle. To me all of these elements work together and send a message of HERE I AM LOOK AT ME!! I would definitely be drawn to this book on store shelves!
