Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday
Alright, guys, there is something you should know about me: I love pretty eyes—like, love them. And of all eye colors, blue is my absolute favorite. So I kind flipped out when I saw this cover, because, look at her eyes! They're pretty much the prettiest blue I've ever seen. Seriously, I can't get over them. (I scroll up about every half a second so I can see them again.) Even her makeup is styled around them—look how the her makeup is pale and unnoticeable except for her eye-liner and mascara, outlining her eyes. I could just go on about that blue forever.
But okay, okay, I'll move on.
So the whole cover is pretty minimalistic, since the background is the main focus, which I think suits the cover. I can't say I'm too crazy about 3-D style font for "Deadly", but I'm in love with the earbud font. It's extremely cool.
Your thoughts?
For some reason the design made me think this was about dystopia and robots, heh. The eyes are too... blue, I guess? Too unreal. Maybe it's just me. Good observation on the makeup tho :)
